Privacy policy

Overview

StrokeInput is a on-screen type method, or custom keyboard.

It does not log or store the data typed, except for the words or character sequences that the user can add to the local dictionaries.

Personal data will not be sold to third parties.

Stored data

StrokeInput does not log or store the data typed, unless the user save them on the device.

The data that the user can store are:

  • Size of the input area on the screen
  • Language selected for for word prediction
  • Words prediction priority based on frequency of selections
  • New words or character sequences in local word prediction dictionaries

Data are saved only in the local memory of the device and are not accessible by other apps.

A reset button in the app settings is available to erase all data stored, overwriting them with original settings and word prediction dictionaries.

Warnings

On installation, the operative system of the device may prompt a warning that third-party keyboards may collect or log all data you type, including bank account and credit card numbers as well as other sensitive information.

StrokeInput does not collect or transmit any data. It can only store data in the terms mentioned previously.
